As a Senior Account Executive, Bill guides businesses to media marketing success by helping them leverage one of the Northeast’s most influential, privately-owned music radio stations, Easy 99.1, WPLM-FM. But that’s not where it all started.
In 1990, after successfully serving two leading travel and tourism suppliers, he launched Ocean Crest Creative. The goal was to offer a contracted solution to those travel suppliers who wanted to increase sales from travel retailers in the Northeast United States territory. Alamo Rent-A-Car was the first of many companies to utilize Ocean Crest Creative’s successful efforts. In this role, Bill carried out over 35,000 personal sales calls, participated in hundreds of trade shows, led multiple familiarization trips, and operated other successful promotional efforts.
The next step in the company’s growth came in 2001. When the concept of a blog had barely been conceived, TravelSalesRep.com became the world’s first travel industry web-based sales representative. Promoting travel suppliers’ offering directly to a unique following of over 54,000 travel agents located throughout North America, this effort also gave Bill a mastery of web design and direct email broadcasting. TravelSalesRep.com became well known for its “eSales Calls” and ultimately composed more than four hundred pages of content that were shared both on the Internet and via a privately-operated proprietary email server.
Ocean Crest Creative’s final metamorphosis came in the area of copywriting. In response to demand, this imaginative word artisan shop started building handcrafted copywriting and content solutions for not only those involved in travel and tourism but others who demanded professional attention paid to their work-related needs.
