In 1990, after successfully serving two leading international tourism and hospitality suppliers, Bill launched Ocean Crest Creative. The goal was to offer a contracted solution to travel suppliers who wanted to increase sales from travel retailers in the Northeast United States territory. Alamo Rent-A-Car was the first of many companies to utilize Ocean Crest Creative’s successful efforts. He carried out over 35,000 personal sales calls in this role, participated in hundreds of trade shows, led multiple familiarization trips, and operated other successful promotional efforts.
The next step in the company’s growth came in 2001. In the dawn of the modern Internet, when the concept of a blog had barely been conceived, TravelSalesRep.com became the world’s first travel industry virtual sales representative. Promoting the offering of travel suppliers directly to a unique following of over 54,000 travel agents located throughout North America, TravelSalesRep.com became well known for its “eSales Calls” and delivered over four hundred proactive web pages of marketing content via the Internet and Ocean Crest Creative’s proprietary email server directly to travel planners.
Ocean Crest Creative’s final metamorphosis came in the expansion of copywriting services. In response to a strong mandate, Bill’s firm started building handcrafted copywriting and content solutions for those involved in travel and tourism and others who demanded professional attention paid to their work-related needs.
Today, Bill has moved his full efforts to Easy 99.1, WPLM-FM, one of the Boston, Providence, Cape Cod, and South Coast Massachusetts Designated Market Areas’ leading media stations. There, he applies his expertise as a Senior Account Executive to advance the overall success of regional businesses.
